How we handle store data

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to merchants and authorized staff who install or use Drishq MarketCheck (the "App") on a Shopify store. The App is provided by Drishq. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to support@drishq.com.

Information we process

• Store and account information: store domain, Shopify store identifier, installation and authentication session details, authorized user identifiers, locale, and granted scopes.
• Catalog and market information: product titles, handles, status, descriptions, images, variant counts, publication information, inventory-related information, market names, and market status made available through the Shopify APIs you authorize.
• App activity: selected products and markets, scan requests, readiness checks, evidence, warnings, results, report history, coverage settings, and monitoring preferences.
• Billing and service information: plan status, metered usage values, billing-event status, and technical logs needed to run, secure, and troubleshoot the App.

The App does not request access to Shopify customer records and is not designed to collect customer personal information.

How we use information

• Authenticate the store and keep the embedded App signed in.
• Load the products and markets the merchant chooses to evaluate.
• Run readiness checks and create evidence, reports, and history.
• Apply plan limits, record metered usage, and support billing.
• Operate monitoring, exports, integrations, and support features.
• Prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and improve reliability.
• Comply with legal obligations and Shopify platform requirements.

We do not sell merchant or store data.

Sharing and service providers

We share information only as needed to provide the App, including with Shopify, our hosting and database infrastructure providers, and processors that support scanning, monitoring, logging, communications, or billing. These providers process information on our behalf under appropriate contractual and security obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Retention and deletion

We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the App, maintain required records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. When the App is uninstalled, active authentication sessions and App data associated with the store, including scan runs, coverage selections, and billing-event records, are scheduled for deletion from active systems. Limited copies may remain temporarily in encrypted backups or where retention is legally required.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, including access controls, encrypted transport, and restricted production access. Information may be processed in countries other than your own where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding personal information. You may also uninstall the App to stop future collection. Send requests to support@drishq.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority over the relevant store before completing a request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App, our practices, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel when required.
